Instructions

1. 1Run live ball screens against drop, switch, and hedge coverages in rotation.
2. 2Identify the coverage before the screen arrives and call out your intended read.
3. 3Execute the pocket pass, pull-up, or reject based on what the coverage gives you.
4. 4Review misreads on film after each block of ten.

What to focus on

Identifying coverage early enough to attack it instead of reacting late.

Common mistake

Running the same read regardless of what the defense actually shows.
