Instructions
- 1Get down low on one knee with the front leg planted well forward.
- 2Keep the head over the front knee and eyes on the ball into contact.
- 3Meet the ball out in front of the front pad, not underneath the body.
- 4Roll the wrists over to keep the shot down and along the ground.
What to focus on
Head over the front knee, contact out in front.
Common mistake
Playing the sweep from too far back, lifting it in the air off a top edge.
