Instructions
- 1Lift the trail heel off the ground slightly at address.
- 2Make backswings feeling the pressure move into the trail foot as it re-plants.
- 3Check in a mirror that the trail shoulder is lower than the lead shoulder at the top.
- 4Hit shots once the backswing consistently loads away from the target.
What to focus on
Weight and spine tilting away from the target in the backswing.
Common mistake
Reverse pivot — weight staying on or moving to the lead foot going back.
