Trail-Foot-Up Reverse Pivot Fix

Load into the trail side correctly instead of hanging on the lead side

Instructions

  1. 1Lift the trail heel off the ground slightly at address.
  2. 2Make backswings feeling the pressure move into the trail foot as it re-plants.
  3. 3Check in a mirror that the trail shoulder is lower than the lead shoulder at the top.
  4. 4Hit shots once the backswing consistently loads away from the target.

What to focus on

Weight and spine tilting away from the target in the backswing.

Common mistake

Reverse pivot — weight staying on or moving to the lead foot going back.
