Instructions
- 1Tee the ball so half of it is above the crown of the driver at address.
- 2Set up with the ball forward off the lead heel and spine tilted slightly away from target.
- 3Swing with the feeling of sweeping the ball off the tee, not down into it.
- 4Check the tee is still in the ground or flying forward, not straight up, after contact.
What to focus on
Positive angle of attack with the driver.
Common mistake
Steep, downward angle of attack that kills launch and adds spin.
