Instructions
- 1Receive a pass with the puck slightly ahead of your body.
- 2Cock the blade back only a short distance, not a full backswing.
- 3Snap through the puck quickly, releasing off the front foot.
- 4Track your time from reception to release and aim to shorten it.

Winding up too far, telegraphing the shot to the goalie.
