Instructions

  1. 1Have a net-front player set a partial screen in front of you.
  2. 2Move laterally to find a lane around the screen before the shot arrives.
  3. 3Track the puck continuously from the stick blade to your body or glove.
  4. 4Communicate loudly to teammates to help identify the shot release.

What to focus on

Active lateral adjustment to find a visual lane before the release.

Common mistake

Staying static behind the screen and losing the puck completely.
