Instructions
- 1Have a feeder pass from 10 yards while you stand near the crease.
- 2Catch with the stick already loaded, top hand loose, bottom hand firm.
- 3Shoot in one motion without cradling first.
- 4Pick a corner before the pass arrives, not after catching.
What to focus on
Deciding the target before the catch so the release stays quick.
Common mistake
Cradling once after the catch, giving the goalie time to reset.
