Instructions
- 1Start at the baseline as a partner feeds a mid-court ball.
- 2Drive the groundstroke deep down the line to limit the opponent's angle.
- 3Immediately move forward toward the kitchen line after the shot.
- 4Split step as the opponent makes contact on their reply.
What to focus on
Committing to forward movement right after contact.
Common mistake
Standing still to admire the shot instead of closing the net.
